Joanna Mary Stalder

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joanna Mary Stalder, beloved wife, sister, and cherished grandmother, who left us on December 13, 2024, at the age of 65. Joanna was born on March 31, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spent her days dedicated to education, making a difference in the lives of many as a devoted educator with the Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation.

Joanna’s love for her family knew no bounds. She shared a beautiful life with her husband, Brian Stalder, and built cherished memories with her siblings, James, Bill and Tom Zoller, and her stepchildren, Linda and Walter James. Her heart was especially filled with joy when she spent time with her grandchildren—Brooklyn, Madison, and Brandon—whom she adored deeply. Although her time with her great-grandchild, Elias, was limited, she treasured every moment they shared.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruth Zoller (nee Rueter) and her brother James Zoller.

Joanna’s kind spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. We invite family and friends to come together to celebrate her life and strength.

A visitation service will take place at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park) on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM, the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow in the Garden of Meditation.

As we gather to remember Joanna, we honor her legacy of love, kindness, and her commitment to family and education. In this time of sorrow, let us lift each other up, carrying forward the love Joanna brought into our lives. Her spirit will live on in our hearts, guiding us with the warmth she shared.
