Jon E. “J.D.” Dale, age 71, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on November 9, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Rex and Faye (Hatfield) Dale. He was educated in the Northwest School System, graduating from Colerain High School in the class of 1972. He was employed at Buddy Rogers Music as sales manager for many years, retiring in 2015 and later employed at Jeff Wyler Acura. J.D. was a member of the following bands: Walker Hill, Mystical Medallion, Argon, Sass, The Christina Brothers, Landsharks, Van-Dells, Road Hog, Tapped Out and the Gamut. JD officially retired from playing on December 19, 2024. He is survived by his partner, Cheryl Rosenberger; his brother, Michael (the late Patricia) Dale; his step-children, Brittni (Michael) O’Leary, Lauren (Rob) Schloemer, Kassie Fordice and Mandy Tompkins; his grandchildren, Chelsey, Christian and Riley Rose; his nieces, Andrea (Shawn) Reiff and Lindsay (Samuel) Arminio; his nephew, Nathan (Dana) Dale; his great nieces and nephews, Katherine, Olivia, Zachary, Anna-Riley, Maddox, Nolan, Myles, and Kennedy; and other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at Shooters Sports Grill in the Washington Event Center in Hamilton on February 16, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a small service at 5 p.m. with Nathan Dale and Aaron Henning, officiating. The Gamut Band will provide the music. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Albert D. Hinkel, funeral director with Charles C.
