Joyce June Owens (nee Hibbard) born July 27, 1936, age 87. Cherished daughter of the late Grover C. Hibbard, Sr. and Allie (Stewart) Hibbard. Devoted sister of the late Grover C. Hibbard, Jr., Lawrence E. Hibbard and Viola Creelman. Loving wife of the late Owen D. Owens. The beloved mother of and survived by Donald W. Owens. Passed away on May 28, 2024 after a long life of faithful love and devotion to God and her family. She was the last survivor of her generation on all sides of the family. One-hour visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St. in Carthage on Wednesday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m., immediately followed by services and then procession and interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road in Mt. Healthy.
