Joyce S. Birkenheuer

Joyce S. Birkenheuer (nee Stewart), 83, of Fairfield, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. Joyce was born on December 22, 1941 in Dayton, OH to Colson Kenton Stewart and Jonie Lee Hayes (nee Mitchell).

Joyce is survived by her son, Chester Allen Gay; grandchildren, Carrie Jo Garner, and Curt Garner; son in love Rick Lamping and his wife, Trinity Lamping; brothers, Daniel Kenton (Donna) Stewart, and Alan Lewis (Gail) Stewart.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rose Lee Gay; and brothers, Estil Anthony Stewart and Johnnie Lee (Shereylle) Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 10:00-11:00am at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE line). A funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place at 12:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens.
