Judith Risen

Judith Risen, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024. Born on December 3, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, was known for her unwavering love for her family and her dedication as an Executive Assistant to the President at Macy’s.

In her 75 years of life, Judith found joy in the simple pleasures, especially spending time with her husband of 54 years, Michael Risen, and their cherished family. Her daughters, Michelle, Tracy, and Jenny, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, held a special place in her heart, and she always treasured moments spent with them.

Judith had a passion for ceramics, a hobby she shared with her mother. She found solace in creating beautiful pieces and bonding over shared creativity. Additionally, her love for Tennessee, particularly the mountains and the mesmerizing fountain at Pigeon Forge, brought her immense happiness and peace. She was also a huge Elvis fan!

Judith is survived by her loving husband, Michael Risen; daughters Michelle (Robbie) Cole, Tracy (John) Cochran, and Jenny (Jason Roark) Risen; grandchildren, Alayla (Hunter) Risen, Jessalyn (Nicholas) Murray, Zachary Risen, Nicholas (Ashley) Risen, Vincent Cole, Destiny (Alex Schaefer) Williams, and Shane Cole; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Risen, and Scarlett Murray.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Dorothy (Schnittker) Eisenacher.
