In loving memory of Judy Ann Conroy who peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 15, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to her parents the late Arthur and Mildred (nee Sunnenburg) Behrmann. Judy was the loving wife of 61 years to the late George Edward Conroy and a cherished mother of Mark Conroy, Gary (Charo) Conroy, Doug (Karen) Conroy and Karen (Dennis) Heflin, and mother-in-law of Kris Farwick. She was a loving grandmother of Kayla Conroy, Chadwick (Jina) Conroy, Allie (Tim) Eckerle, Nolan Conroy, Nicolas Conroy, Anthony Conroy, Michael (Tori) Conroy, Lydia Conroy, Kaitlynn (Scott) Brown, Nick (Stevie Rae) Conroy, Alex (Katie) Whitaker, and Michael (Hannah) Whitaker and great grandmother of Paisleigh, Avery, Hadlee, Kason, Hayden, Cameron, Evelyn, Myles, and Lilly. Dear sister of Greg (Joyce) Behrmann and late Barry (Barb) Behrmann and sister-in-law of the late Janet (Hubert) Burger. Beloved granddaughter of the late Anna (nee Schmidt) Sunnenburg.

Judy’s family and friends meant the world to her. Fridays at grandma and grandpa’s were a special day for her grandchildren and left them with many lasting memories. Nothing brought her more joy than a house filled with laughter. She loved her nieces and nephews and never missed a birthday card or special occasion. She looked forward to her lunches with lifelong school friends and evenings spent with her neighbors.

Through her career of nearly 40 years as a realtor, she forged many lasting friendships and found great joy, in particular, assisting first-time homebuyers find the home of their dreams.

Her genuine love for life and her compassion for others will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Judy’s life will take place at Little Flower Church, 5560 Kirby Ave., on Saturday (September 28) from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choosing in Judy’s memory. She was a proud sponsor of so many.

As we prepare to honor Judy’s life and legacy, let us come together to celebrate the profound impact she had on those around her, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. May her spirit continue to guide us as we navigate this difficult time of loss.
