June Grace Meyers, 94, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 6, 1931, to the late Louis Charles and Frances Elizabeth (nee Reese) Schubert.

On January 31, 1952, June married the love of her life, the late Roger John Meyers. Together they built a life rooted in family, devotion, and time spent together-values June carried with her throughout her life.

June was a devoted and loving mother to Sharon (the late Mike) Losito, Michael Meyers, and Cindy (Tom) Meyer. She was a cherished grandmother to Stefanie (Keith), Lindsey, Tony, Rick, Michael, Roger and Zach, and a beloved great-grandmother to Josie, Cooper, Alex, Roger, and Thomas. To them, she was not only a mother, grandmother, and GG, but the heart of the family.

Family was June’s greatest joy. In her younger years, she loved cooking for those she loved most and was known for hosting unforgettable Sunday dinners, filling her home with the comfort of togetherness. What mattered most to her was simply being with her family and sharing time together.

June had a sharp mind, a quick wit, and an unforgettable sense of humor. She had a way of keeping everyone laughing, often with perfectly timed remarks and playful observations that made every gathering brighter.

She had a lifelong love of shopping and impeccable style-always perfectly put together, coordinated from head to toe, adorned with jewelry, and finished with her signature coral lipstick. A true fashionista, she passed her sense of style down through the generations.

Creative and nurturing, June sewed dresses for her girls, colored with her grandchildren, and loved making paper dolls, creating memories that will be treasured forever. In later years, she enjoyed watching hours of the Home Shopping Network, TV Land, and even Dr. Pimple Popper, always with curiosity and amusement.

June loved angels, and her family finds comfort knowing that now she is theirs. She had an angelic voice and loved singing to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In the last week of her life, she shared that “You Are My Sunshine” was one of her favorites -a simple reminder that she will always be the sunshine in the lives of those she loved.

To celebrate June’s incredible life, we will gather for a visitation at Frederick Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. June Grace Meyers will be remembered for her devotion to family, her humor, her grace, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in every laugh, every gathering, and every moment of love shared by those who were blessed to know her.
