June Jedding

June Jedding (nee Gardner), a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on March 9, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 84. Born on June 1, 1939, in Delhi, Ohio, June led a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

June was a woman of many passions. She found joy in reading as a member of her book club, solving crossword puzzles, and capturing moments through family photos. Her love for adventure led her on many cruises with her husband, Thomas Jedding, creating countless unforgettable experiences.

Her dedication to her family was unwavering. June was affectionately known as “Meems” to her grandchildren, whom she adored. She immersed herself in their lives, attending numerous games and activities, always cheering them on with pride and love. Her sons Tim, Thom (Jan), Greg (Karen), and Kevin (Kim) were the center of her world.

June was a woman of knowledge, often referred to as a “walking encyclopedia” by those who knew her. Her love for baking brought comfort to those around her, from decadent cookies to savory meatloaf, each dish made with love.

June was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Hazel Gardner, her brothers Charles, Leroy, Owen, and John; sisters Ruth, Ann, Violet.

She is survived by her loving husband Tom, her sons, her sister Garnet, her beloved grandchildren, and many dear friends.

A visitation to honor June’s life and legacy will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church (2900 W Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239). A mass service will follow the visitation. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the impact she had on their lives. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassus Hospice in June’s memory.

June will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. May her spirit live on through the cherished memories she leaves behind.

Guest Book

“Sending blessings from northern Michigan. We have fond memories of our times with the Jeddings and as a little girl, and part of the soccer family, she doted on us as her own. Peace to all.”

“My Aunt June was always kind and upbeat. I remember visiting with her, my uncle, and her four sons when I was a kid and always having a great time in their home. She was always smiling and had encouraging words for everyone. I am much older now and always like to look back and remember all those good times. Thank you Aunt June for your loving and encouraging words which have been held close and dear to my heart. I will see you on the other side of this life along with others who have passed.”

“May God’s love surround you through this time of sorrow and may His peace comfort you always.”

“With deepest sympathy to Tom and family. You are in our prayers.”
