A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Juneann C. Tanner, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who left us on June 29, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on January 25, 1958, in Cincinnati, OH, Juneann brought joy and warmth to everyone around her.
A dedicated cashier at the Sharonville Car Wash, June was known for her infectious smile and friendly demeanor. She embraced life with a spirit of kindness and a deep love for her family. June took immense pride in her role as a mother to Michelle, Michael, Megan and Matthew, and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love was evident in the way she supported their interests, attending countless sports games to cheer them on until she was no longer able.
June found joy not just in her family but also in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals on television and relished family trips to Memphis to visit Graceland. She cherished precious visits to Bronson, Missouri, where she enjoyed quality time with her mother, Frances, and loved exploring the beautiful sights of the Amish country. Whether shopping for her grandchildren or painting wooden treasures, June approached every activity with joy and enthusiasm.
A true fighter, June bravely battled breast cancer for seven years, showing remarkable strength and resilience. She was deeply connected to her roots, enjoying her childhood memories spent with her “Grammy,” who spoiled her with love. Her favorite color was pink, a reflection of her vibrant spirit, and her heart swayed to the tunes of Elvis, her favorite artist.
June is survived by her loving spouse, Thomas Tanner, her devoted mother Frances Kraemer, her sister Angela James and her four children: Michelle Bunner, Michael Bunner, Megan (Shawn) Sweeney, and Matthew Appel. She also leaves behind a legacy of joy through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Trenton, Trevor, Trey, Phalyn, Haley, Hannah, Joshua, Jacob, Hope, Hollie, Brooklyn, and Omari, along with great-grandchildren Mya, Delon, Romeo, and Kaiden.
Juneann was preceded in death by her father, August Kraemer.
Family and Friends are invited to gather for a visitation at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park) which will take place beginning at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, followed by a graveside service to honor her life at 12:00 PM.
June’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her dearly. She will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for her incredible heart and unyielding love.
