It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Lee Burch, a beloved husband, friend, and community member, who left this world on September 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on February 11, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Larry dedicated his life to his passions and his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Larry was a proud veteran who served in the Army from May 18, 1965, until May 17, 1971, achieving the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4 E4). After his service, he embarked on a vibrant career in real estate, working for esteemed companies such as Huff and Star One; Number 1 boss of any company; Jim Grady, for over 35 years. His charm and expertise made him a trusted realtor, known for always putting his clients first.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Larry was a man who truly lived life to the fullest. He adored spending weekends on the golf course and enjoyed quiet afternoons casting lines at his favorite fishing spots. Larry’s love for entertaining was evident in the cookouts he frequently hosted, where friends and family gathered to share good food and even better stories.

For a remarkable 25 years, he poured his heart into owning the Chatterbox Lounge, where live bands would perform and serving as a gathering place filled with laughter and camaraderie. He was also known for his spirited involvement in his fraternity C.O.S., where many lifelong friendships were forged.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Jan Burch, who was his partner and wife in all things for 37 years, and a treasured figure in his life. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home that reflected Larry’s infectious spirit. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Shirley Evers; niece, Linda (Bob) McMullin, and nephews, Roy (Denise) Ohr, Matt (Jen) Ohr, Tim Ohr, Dan (Danie) Edelen, Chris (Kathy) Edelen, Andy (Cheryl) Edelen and Jeff (Kathy) Garber; great nephew, Bob Huston; great nephew, Nick (Eliza) Huston and Rena Fricker family.

Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harold and Thelma Burch; Brother, Harold Burch; sisters, Helen (Bill) Edelen and Darlene (Roy) Ohr, and Bob Huston Sr.

A memorial service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens Chapel on Friday, October 2nd at 11:30a.m., located within the cemetery. 2145 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231. Military Honors will be provided following the service, and before placement on the lake.

Family requests no flowers. Family and friends are welcome to order small planters in honor of Larry’s life. They may be delivered to the Arlington Chapel for his memorial services.
