A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
Lester Lee Ashley, 82, of Hamilton, was born on October 5, 1942 to Luther and Geneva (nee Howson) Ashley in Eubank, Kentucky.

Lester spent a lot of his days helping others with their cars, lawnmowers, and landscaping. Whenever you called, he would be there. He will be remembered for his good heart and his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Janis Ashley, Dallas Ashley, and Junior Ashley.

“My “sweet” memory of him is when I went with Paulette to see/meet him in the nursing home; he really didn’t say a lot, BUT!! when we were leaving, I said it was so nice meeting you, then I blew him a kiss, he raised his fragile arm and blew me a kiss back with a smile; I was very touched by that; bless his heart.”
