Lowell B. Ellison, 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on March 15, 2025.

Lowell was born on July 15, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Greene and Mae Ellison. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Danielle Franklin.

Lowell was the husband of Patricia Ellison; father of Kathie Ellison, Jimmy Ellison, Tim Grubb (Chris), Tanya Grubb, Becky Miller (Casey); and brother to Ray Ellison, Don Ellison, and Maureen Ellison. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.

Lowell was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent 34 years working at General Motors before retiring with pride. He took great pride in being a loyal member of the Union, always standing up for his fellow workers and the values they shared. Outside of work, Lowell was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan, rarely missing a game and always cheering them on with passion. He also had a deep love for music, often filling his home with his favorite tunes and enjoying the joy and comfort it brought. Friends and family are invited to gather at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, Amelia, on Monday, March 24th from 5:00PM until the time of the service at 7:00PM. Interment will be held the following morning at 11:30AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
