Marian was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Katie (nee Sponsel) and August Flick on June 22, 1925. She passed peacefully, at the age of 100, on May 8, 2026. She is the beloved mother of Bill (Linda) Hartmann and Paul (Darla) Hartmann; cherished grandmother of Will (Adrianna), Reid (Patricia), Nick and Eric (Lindsey); and treasured great grandmother of Ava, Corinne, Elise, Chase, Mabel, Jaxon, Anna, Arthur and Myles. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 71 years, Bill Hartmann Sr., and her siblings Gus Flick, Rosie Runtz, Ed Flick, Cliff Flick, Ruth Schwaegerle, Ray Flick and Catherine Bogan. Marian and Bill were longtime members of Northside Christian Church and the Cincinnati Retail Baker’s Association.  A visitation with brunch will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am. Those wishing to make a charitable donation in Marian’s memory may do so at Circle Tail Inc.
