Marlene Lois Bradley

January 14, 1936 – January 22, 2024

Marlene Lois Bradley

Marlene Lois Bradley, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, was born on January 14, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing on January 22, 2024, at the age of 88, in her home in Batavia, Ohio.

Marlene led a life filled with simple treasures and cherished moments. She delighted in the presence of her family, and her love for them knew no bounds. A compassionate and caring soul, Marlene possessed a special affinity for animals, particularly dogs. She found solace in their loyal companionship and offered them the same unwavering devotion.

With a creative spirit, Marlene found joy in the art of crafting. Her nimble fingers would crochet and knit together beautiful pieces, each one a testament to her talent and imagination. But perhaps her most profound passion was found within the pages of a book. Marlene was an avid reader, finding solace and adventure in the written word. Her expansive collection of books was a testament to her thirst for knowledge and her love for stories.

Marlene dedicated several years of her life as an administrative assistant at Cincinnati Bell in the telecommunications industry. Her unwavering commitment and impeccable organizational skills made her an invaluable asset to her colleagues and earned her respect throughout her career.

Marlene will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews, and her brothers John and James
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Flora, and siblings, Donald and Harry.

“I worked 18 years with Marlene (before her retirement) at Cincinnati Bell. After My retirement in 2010 I would go to her home every and we would go out for lunch, go shopping, and playing cards. I missed it very much when COVID struck. Be happy where you are now Marlene.”

“I’ll always remember how she was so good to Grandma. The drives to visit Grandma and Aunt Marlene were a big highlight for us as we were growing up because we lived so far away. U.S. 50 all the way… so much fun . Love and God’s blessings surrounding her …”
