Mary Jo Berding, beloved wife of Patrick Berding. Devoted mother of Scott (Karen) Berding, Sue Berding, Mike Berding, Dave (Sheila) Berding, Mark (Laura) Berding, Sally (Tom) Tressler and Katy (Greg) Samuels. Loving grandmother of Erin (Richard) Heimbrock, Andrew (Jessica) Berding, Jacob (Kari) Lindegren, Ashley (Connor) Ratycz, Allison Berding, Matthew Tressler, Ryan Tressler, Alec Samuels, Megan Tressler and Dylan Samuels. Great grandmother of Bentley Heimbrock, Abigail Heimbrock, Hazel Berding, Hunter Berding, Arthur Ratycz, Harper Berding, Zoey Lindegren and Finley Ratycz. Dear sister of Bob (Kathy) Gruber, Linda Gruber, Joe (Diane) Gruber and the late Dan Gruber.  Mary Jo is survived by a large loving family.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed dearly.  Family was everything to her.  She was an amazing pianist, baker, cook, host, seamstress and loved spending time in her yard.  She was the ultimate host and loved to entertain in her house of 56 years. She enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and had a special relationship with each of them.  Mary Jo passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the age of 81. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Friday (Dec 1) from 5-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 3720 St Martins Pl. on Saturday (Dec 2) at 10am. Prior to mass family words of remembrance will take place at 9:50am.
