Michael found solace and joy in music, with classical organ pieces holding a special place in his heart.

“Sorry to hear of Mike passing. I went to grade school and high school with him and always had good conversations with him at Class Reunions.”

“Meeting Michael at Hyde Park Church lead me to many meaningful lunches after many Sonday services with him, Harry and Rick. We all had humorous conversations even when we discussed the Lord, current events and politics. Oh yeah, trains too. Knowing Mike’s in God’s hands and no longer dealing with the health issues helps my heart not be too sad for me. Mos Def will miss you. God bless and praying for the family.”

“Mike was a great friend and companion! We spent many days running trains and eating out, arguing every time over whose turn it was to buy! 😎. His favorite was skyline chili and Golden Corral. We spent many months together while his health was declining. We thought he had conquered the illness, but it returned in a different form. He will be missed by many, especially his family and me. Rest in peace Michael! You’ve earned it!!”
