Obituary for NORMAN EDWARD DENDLER, SR.
Dendler, Norman Edward, Sr.
Beloved Husband of the late Patricia Jane Dendler, for 55 years. Loving father of Norman (Beth) Dendler Jr., Jeffrey (Susan) Dendler, David (Beth) Dendler, William (Heather) Dendler. Proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister, Lorraine Head. Son of the late Charles and Fleda Dendler. Brother of the late Jean Owens and Richard Dendler. Passed away April 23, 2025, age 85. Resident of Hamilton. A visitation will be held at Southland Baptist Church, 2485 Springdale Road, Cincinnati on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Visitation from 9:30-11:30am. Funeral service at 11:30am. Memorial contributions may be sent to Southland Baptist Church.

“My father admired Norm when he was a young man serving in official capacities at church and my dad was a very good judge of character. Norman Jr., Jeff, David, and Bill, you are privileged to have grown up with parents that were admired by friends, and faithful to God. Your loss is profound but your memories will be precious for the rest of your lives. Jesse and I have lost a friend that will never be replaced. Our hearts have been broken that we can’t be there to personally grieve with you but we’ll continue to thank God for having Norm as a precious friend.”

“Norm, My friend of many years..” Thanks for the memories” When you, pat, don and I were having meals at different restaurants every month or so. We sure enjoyed those times. When you made me peanut butter fudge when I was recovering from surgery. When for years you were santa for my grandchildren. They still remember that with love. When you called me almost every week to check up on me and we would talk for an hour. I wish you could still call me. I already miss you norm. I’m praying your family will take comfort from the psalm 23. We have a promise from the Lord, that some day we will meet again. Till then, love, Joyce”
