Frey, Paul W. beloved husband of the late Phyllis L. (Gettler) Frey. Loving father of Kathy Frey, Kelly (Paul) Linn and the late Danny Frey. Devoted grandfather of Nicole (Aaron) Andrews, Matthew House, Daniel (Morgan) House, Lindsey (Cody) Ralston, Melissa Linn and Kristen Linn. Great-Grandfather of Grayce, Catelyn, Kira, Brayden, Dallis, Harlan, Adley and Colbie. Preceded in death by his former wife Jackie (Schmeisser) Frey. Dear brother of Carolyn Thacker, Michael Frey, Steven Frey and the late Donald Frey and Judith Woodrum. Paul retired from Complete Auto Transit in Norwood, Ohio in 1997. He achieved the Million Miler status delivering corvettes and traveling a million miles with no safety violations. Paul enjoyed restoring and building Cushman scooters and Whizzer Cruzzer motorbikes in his retirement. He operated a parts business for many years for these bikes making him known to people across the country as “Whizzer Paul”. He spent many hours giving advice over his phone and sharing his vast knowledge of the operation of these bikes. Paul loved football, NASCAR, going out to eat and traveling; especially cruises with his wife Phyllis. Paul was kind and generous and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.. Paul never met a stranger and has friends around the world from his travels and his Whizzer business. He will be missed by many. Paul passed at home surrounded by family on Monday, Nov 20, 2023 age 83 years.

Visitation Tuesday, November 28, from 5pm until time of funeral services at 7pm at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home 10385 New Haven Rd. (Harrison). Burial of ashes will be private.
