Peggy June Thornsburg

Peggy June Thornsburg, age 81, passed away on January 13, 2023.

Peggy was born in Bronston, Kentucky to James and Eula Flynn. Peggy married Richard Thornsburg of Middletown, Ohio on October 21, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Peggy is survived by her children, Karen (Robert) Schlemmer , Kenny (Dee) Thornsburg, grandchildren, Ryan (Elaine) McKenrick, Allyson Lomboy, Danyelle Forrester, Nick (Brooke) Thornsburg, Madison Thornsburg, and Jacob Thornsburg, and five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, and Ben McKenrick, Landon McSwain, and Wyatt Thornsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 60 years,  Richard Thornsburg.

Upon retirement she moved to Bradenton, Florida from Cincinnati, Ohio.  She live in Bradenton, Florida for 16 years until her husband’s death in 2022.  She then moved back to Cincinnati, Ohio to be with her family and close friends in 2022. Peggy will truly be missed by all who knew her, both family and friends.

Memorial Services for Peggy June Thornsburg will be held on Saturday February 25, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the red line upon entering the memorial park). A private burial will follow.
