Peggy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Louise (nee Herbst) and John Porter on August 22, 1935. She is survived by children Stephen (Dorothe) Lackman, Robert (Kate) Lackman, John (Christiane) Lackman, Laura (Mark) DeSalvo, Darren (Laura) Lackman and Maureen (Michael) Goldenberg; grandchildren Michael, Katie, Kyle, Kristen, Lindsay, Jaydon, Sara, Elizabeth, James and numerous great-grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by her dear sister-in-law Alice Porter and preceded in death by her parents and siblings Donald Porter and Kathleen Beebe. Peggy was a loving mother and an adoring and cherished grandmother. She was also especially fond of her many dogs over the years and will be missed by her beloved dog Triska. Her loss will be deeply felt by many.
A visitation for Peggy will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, 12-1 pm in the Arlington Memorial Gardens Chapel with a private burial afterwards. Donations in Peggy’s name can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
