Richard A. Huff

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Andrew Huff, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. Richard was born on September 23, 1952, in Hamilton, OH, and departed from this world on April 19, 2024, in Cincinnati, OH.

Richard was a man of many passions, known for his unwavering dedication to his family and friends. An avid sports fan, he found joy in supporting the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, The Ohio State University, and the University of Cincinnati. He was a history enthusiast, who loved to read. Richard loved socializing with friends and playing with his beloved family dog. He also enjoyed spending time camping with loved ones and friends at Cowan Lake and Winton Woods.

Professionally, Richard excelled in the HVAC industry.  He was a Service Manager and part of the Pipefitters Local Union 392. He was also an Instructor for The Mechanical Equipment Services (MES) training program, passing on his knowledge and skills to future apprentices.

Richard was a proud member of the Mt. Healthy Fraternal Order of Eagles 2193, Moose Lodge 2, and the prestigious Kentucky Colonels.

Richard’s love for literature and music was unparalleled, with a special admiration for the Beatles. His talent for writing extended to crafting personalized books for each of his grandchildren. There is no one he loved more than his spouse of 48 years, Norene (“Norene Baby”), his daughters, Melanie (Joseph Daughtrey) and Stephanie (Eric Borg), his grandchildren, Addison, Sophia, Ava, Amelia, and Andrew. Richard’s creativity, imagination, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Huff, and his siblings, Kathy Huff and Lora Lee Mueller.

A celebration of Richard’s remarkable life will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the red line upon entering the memorial park) on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 9:30 AM where the family will receive friends.
