Rita Hampton

FEBRUARY 16, 1942 – August 8, 2023

Rita Hampton

Rita Hampton, age 81, passed away on August 8, 2023. Rita was born to Arnold Meeker and Helen Meeker in Cincinnati, OH on February 2, 1942.

Rita married Allen Hampton on May 5, 1961 in Cincinnati, OH and they were married for 62 years.

Rita is survived by her husband Allen Hampton, dear friend Beverly Mechley, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents Helen Meeker and Arnold Meeker; nephew Mark Meeker, and her brothers and sisters.  

Rita was a loving wife and friend. She enjoyed spending her time playing golf, bingo, and the slots. For 45 years, she spent her time working at the Red’s stadium. She will be greatly missed.

In Rita’s honor, please make memorial donations to the Hospice of Cincinnati.
