It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Allen Lunkenheimer, who left us on February 22, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on October 22, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ron lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and a love for family, friends, and the passions that brought him joy.
Ronald, a proud United States Army veteran, subsequently embraced a career as a tow truck driver in the automotive industry, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic.
A true enthusiast of life, Ron cherished music, with tunes that often filled the air around him. His love for NASCAR racing fueled countless conversations and memories shared with friends and family, as did his unwavering support for the Cincinnati Bengals. Whether cheering from the stands or sharing a laugh with loved ones at home, Ron’s spirit shone brightly through his passions.
Ron is survived by his beloved son, Robert Holt (Krissy Riley), and his cherished grandchildren, Lauren (Chris) Moore and Ava Holt, along with great-grandchild Jennifer Parker. He will also be dearly missed by his brothers, Donald (Wilma) Lunkenheimer, John Lunkenheimer, James (Barbara) Lunkenheimer, and Dale Lunkenheimer, as well as many nieces and nephews who carry forward his memory.
Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Tierney, and parents, Robert and Laverne Lunkenheimer. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th, 2026 from 1:30-2:30pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the RED line). A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens.
