Ronald Westrich

Ronald Francis Westrich, born on March 27, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be fondly remembered for his friendliness and love for his family. Ron’s life was filled with moments of joy and connections with those around him.

Ron found enjoyment in traveling and loved to ride his bike. He treasured his bright red truck and cherished the simple pleasures of taking walks with his loved ones. As an active member of the First Baptist Church of Greenhills, Ron shared his faith through tutoring and home Bible Studies.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife Peggy (nee Baker) Westrich, his parents, Edward and Mary Alice (nee Dwyer) Westrich, and his siblings James (Mary) Westrich, Larry Westrich and Betty Westrich.

Ron is survived by his children Hannah and Hans Westrich, and brothers Ray (Elaine) Westrich and Paul (Cathy) Westrich, sister-in-law Dianne Westrich and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ron was fond of animals, and he found comfort in their presence, even during his time in a care facility. Family trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, especially those shared with his daughter Hannah, brought him immense joy, and created cherished memories. After retirement, Ron also enjoyed cruising. 

Ron and his family are grateful for the love and care that he received at the Sem Haven Retirement Community and Care Facility.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Ron Westrich at the upcoming funeral services. A Visitation will be held at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line to the left upon entering the memorial park) on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 6:00 pm, followed by Service at 7:00 pm. The Graveside Service at Arlington Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Restoration will take place Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 12:00 pm.

Ron’s spirit and love for his family will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him best. May his memory be a beacon of light and comfort during this time of remembrance.
