Sandy Wright

july 7, 1938 – may 15, 2024

Sandy Wright

Sandra Lynn Rink Wright, a beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024, in her hometown of Cincinnati, OH. Born on July 7, 1938, Sandy was raised in Cincinnati and spent her entire life dedicated to her family.

Sandy had a successful career at Procter & Gamble, where she worked for over 50 years. She cherished the many friendships she made at P&G and took great pride in her work.

Sandy found joy in being a devoted mother to her daughters, Tina Imm and Toni Smith, and her favorite (bonus son-in-law) Ed Imm. She adored spending time with her grandchildren – Elizabeth (Levi), Kaelin (Gideon), Kara, Edward, and Matthew – lovingly referred to as “the kids.” Sandy’s passion for knitting afghans brought her relaxation and fulfillment in her spare time.

Sandy will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her kind spirit. Sandy always had a smile on her face. As family and friends grieve her loss, they take comfort in knowing that Sandy’s memory will live on through the stories and memories shared by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 12:00-1:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (FOLLOW THE BLUE LINE). A memorial service will take place following visitation at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is collecting donations to enhance the activities program at The Willows, the memory care unit at Mallard Cove (make check payable to Tina Imm, 9866 Bennington Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45241). Sandy spent her final years there singing, making crafts, and enjoying all of her friends. Sandy made sure that everyone knew they were “looking good today.” She will be greatly missed.
