Obituary via Mihovk Rosenacker Funeral Home

Shirley M. Putnick (nee Rosenacker), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully February 5, 2026, at the age of 95. Shirley was the devoted wife of Frederick K. “Babe” Putnick, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage before his passing. Together, they built a family grounded in love, faith, and steadfast commitment.

She was the loving mother of Kenneth (Stacy) Putnick, Karen Putnick, Mark Putnick, Sheri (Tim) Magoto, and the late Vicki Wellen and Christina Morris. Shirley took great pride in her family and was a cherished grandmother to 18 grandchildren and a joyful great-grandmother to 20 great-grandchildren.

A woman of deep faith, Shirley lived her life with quiet strength and generosity of spirit. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 10th from 9:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Boniface Church, 1750 Chase Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Boniface Church or CurePSP (click here to contribute online).
