Sue Caryl List, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on Friday, March 20th, 2026, after a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was born on December 29th, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Francis Bodie and Betty Bodie-Curry.
Sue shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Charles (Bud). Together, they created a lifetime of memories, including 26 years of annual trips to Cancun, Mexico—a place where they enjoyed spending lots of time on the beach.
A lover of the outdoors, Sue could often be found tending to her vibrant flower garden or mowing the lawn. She delighted in the simple pleasures of life, whether getting her nails done, playing slots on her Kindle, engaging in a spirited game of Rummy Royal, or adorning herself with her beloved jewelry collection, Sue also liked reading and listening to her favorite country music.
Sue had a special place in her heart for her dog, Toby, and her granddaughter, whom she adored and never missed a chance to spoil.
Sue is survived by her loving husband, Charles (Bud) List, daughters, Melissa (Robert) Turner, and Kristin List, granddaughter Allie Harvey, brother, Frank Bodie, best friend Linda Tabar, as well as her beloved fur baby Toby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and best friend, Diana Woodruff.
Sue will be remembered for her love of life, her laughter, and the joy she brought to family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and treasured moments that will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31st 2026, from 10:00-11:00 AM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE line). A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens.

Ive driven by your house and wanted to stop and never did. Now i get to live with that regret and its on me. Bud, Melissa, Kristin You all will always be extended family to me.
