June 8, 1967 – November 22, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Traci Lynn Combs-Pennington, a beloved wife, sister, grandmother, and friend who left this world on November 22, 2024, at the age of 57. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Traci was a lifelong resident of the area, residing in West Chester, Ohio, where she filled her home with love, laughter, and beautiful blooms.

Traci was married to her soulmate, Ray Pennington, who cherished her deeply. Together, they built a life rich with love and genuine connection. She is survived by her loving husband Ray, her devoted sister Kimberly Combs-Davis and her children whom Traci was a second mother to, Derek Davis and Kayleigh Davis, step-daughter, Tracy Celet, step-son, Michael Pennington, three adoring grandchildren who were the light of her life, many nieces, nephews, 2 great nieces, and many other extended family members. Traci’s family also included her beloved fur babies, Teddy and Bella, who brought her immeasurable joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Maxine (nee Sales) Combs.

Traci’s professional journey in healthcare administration was marked by her compassion and dedication to helping others. Employed by Greater Cincinnati Auto Leasing and Good Samaritan Hospital, her natural caregiving spirit was evident in both her work and personal life. With a keen memory for everyone’s birthdays, she had a unique talent for making each person feel special, ensuring they knew they truly mattered.

Outside of her professional life, Traci had a passion for gardening, lovingly tending to the vibrant flowers that surrounded her home. She enjoyed reading and writing, using her creative gifts to express herself and connect with those she loved. Her strong faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and interactions. Traci had a beautiful affinity for butterflies and angels, symbols of love and transformation that resonated deeply with her.

With an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room, Traci’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, love, and heartfelt connections will continue to inspire her family and friends. Traci was one of the kindest and loving souls you could ever know.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE Line). A memorial service will follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Don Stowell officiating.
