Valerie E. Greer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Valerie E. Greer, who left us on April 8, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on December 16, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Valerie was a vibrant spirit who truly embraced life and was loved dearly by those who knew her.

Valerie’s passion for adventure and joy in every moment shined brightly. She found immense pleasure in gardening, nurturing her plants as a reflection of her love for beauty and nature. Her love for swimming and attending music events brought her endless joy, especially when the music of her favorite artist, Michael Jackson, was playing. She had a unique gift for making people laugh, and her kindhearted nature made everyone feel welcome and cherished.

She had a special bond with her sister, Michelle Posey, with whom she shared countless memories and laughter. Valerie’s love for her family was profound. She also shared moments throughout her life with her brothers Andre Pearson and Micheal Posey, as well as with her sisters Vickie Williams (Posey) and Debra Greer. She also had a favorite cousin, Doretha Brown, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors in the community where she lived. Her legacy of kindness and vitality will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Valerie’s life and cherish her memory on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Valerie will be laid to rest in the Lakeside Mausoleum.

Valerie E. Greer, you brought so much light into our lives, and we will hold your memory close to our hearts. You will be deeply missed.

Valerie was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Kelley, her brother Andre Pearson, and her sister Vickie Williams (Posey).
