Walter Jerome Spurgeon, age 78, of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Ross, Ohio passed away on June 15, 2023 at Traditions of Deerfield in Loveland. He was born on April 26, 1945, the son of Walter and Margaret (Quint) Spurgeon. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of VFW Post #340 in North College Hill. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (Frederick) Spurgeon; one sister, Caroline (Ray) Fitzgerald; and other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Phyllis Spurgeon; and two brothers, Johnny and Tim Spurgeon.

Visitation will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens in the Garden Mausoleum, 2145 Compton Road, Mt. Healthy, OH on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of interment at 11:30.
