William J. Grigsby, beloved husband of the late Della (nee Moore) Grigsby, devoted father of Bill (Debi) Grigsby Jr., Gwen (Gary) Hessler, and Jarrod Grigsby, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. He was the cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Tony), Jonathan (Michelle), Kevin (Stacy), Brandon (Sierra), Bryson (Kayle), Chelsea, and Nathan (Jenna), and a proud great-grandfather to Logan, Carson, Raelynn, Peyton, Wesley, Harper, Adeline, and Josephine. William was also the dear brother of the late Helma Runck, Betty Anglin, and Ella Starke, and is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Bill was a man whose devotion to his family was unwavering. He lived his life with joy, always offering a helping hand and a kind word to those around him. He often said, “If you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life,” and his passion for his work reflected that philosophy. He truly never worked a day in his life. Known for his warmth and approachability, Bill never met a stranger and always made others feel welcome and valued.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30 at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M., the family requests donations be made to the Colerain Twp Fire and EMS Department in Bill’s honor. Bill will be remembered for his big heart, his dedication to family, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.
