Earlene Kay Motz

February 5, 1960 – April 9, 2024

Earlene Kay Motz

In loving memory of Earlene Kay Motz, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and beloved member of the community, whose journey on this earth ended on April 9, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on February 5, 1960, in Hamilton, Ohio, Earlene was a woman of immense love and strength.

Throughout her life, Earlene found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing with her husband Dennis, crafting beautiful crocheted pieces, and exploring her creative talents through arts and crafts. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and delicious aromas, where she shared her passion for cooking with her renowned spaghetti sauce.

Earlene’s unwavering dedication to her family was evident in everything she did. She cherished spending time with her husband of nearly 20 years, Dennis, and took immense pride in her role as a mother to her children, Amy, Karen, Erik, Kevin, and Emily. Her love extended to her eight cherished grandchildren, who brought endless joy into her life.

A graduate of Hamilton-Badin High School, Earlene served her country honorably as a member of the United States Air Force for two years. Her resilience, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Earlene leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be forever treasured by her family and friends, including her spouse Dennis, children Amy, Karen, Erik, Kevin, and Emily, 8 grandchildren, sister Karen, brother David, and many other relatives. She was a beacon of strength and love in their lives, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Visitation to honor Earlene will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 9:30-11:30am at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (FOLLOW THE BLUE LINE UPON ENTERING THE MEMORIAL PARK).

In the peaceful embrace of time, may Earlene Kay Motz find eternal rest, surrounded by the love and memories she shared so generously with all who knew her. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in the lives she has touched, forever and always.
