Janice Jean Anderson

Janice Jean Anderson, age 86 of Cincinnati, Ohio departed on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Mt. Vernon, KY on April 24, 1939.

Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Anderson, parents, Robert and Rissie Cummins, and son-in-law John Wilhite.

Survived by her children Kym Wilhite, Mike Anderson, Sheila Newport and husband Roderick, and Mark Anderson, grandchildren Kyle Caldwell and wife Courtney, Dustin MacFarland and wife January, Amanda Hollin, and Jessica Fields and husband Zane, Great-grandchildren Jordan MacFarland, Sean MacFarland, Hadley Caldwell, Vera Caldwell, Atticus Caldwell, Wilder Caldwell, and Pippa Caldwell, her sister Bobbie Rosenbalm and husband Kenneth, and various extended family members.

Janice met her husband Arthur in Kindergarten at the age of 5. They were married on June 29, 1957. Janice received the Lord as her savior at a very young age and continued to raise her children deeply in the Christian faith. Her devotion to her faith inspired future generations to live for Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22nd, 2025 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE line). A graveside service will follow at 1:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
