Obituary for Judy Lynn Albers

Judy Lynn Albers, a beloved wife, mother, mamaw, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025. Born on July 31, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Judy dedicated her life to her family, her church, and her music. She was known for her endless love, warmth, and hospitality.

A gifted singer, songwriter, and musician, Judy’s talent was a constant source of joy, hope, and encouragement. Music was her language, and she used her gifts to point everyone to Jesus. As a lifelong member of The Free Holiness Church of God in Sharonville, Ohio, she dedicated her time and energy to helping in every capacity she could, touching countless lives through her devotion.

Judy’s home was a sanctuary for many, full of love, laughter, and acceptance. She lived not just as a mother to her own daughter, but she opened her arms and her heart as a mother to all those who needed her, exhibiting unconditional love and support. Her family was her world, and her legacy will forever be cherished by those she held dear.

Judy leaves behind her beloved husband, Alfred “Dave” Albers Jr.; her cherished daughter, Tiffany Joy Hobart; and her adored grandchildren, Braelynn, Corbin, and Evelyn Hobart. She is also survived by her sisters, Lois McCane, Wanda (Jim) Mills, and Tricia (Butch) Partin, along with her nephews, Ricky (Angie) McCane and Jon (Jen) McCane, and niece, Melissa (Shawn) Brumfield, her son-in-love Jonathan Hobart, and several great nieces and nephews as well as a countless number of cousins, friends, and family members.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Derossett Jr. and Helen Derossett, and brothers-in-law, Rick McCane and Jim Thomas

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the BLUE Line). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 1:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions in honor of Judy can be made to The Free Holiness Church of God in Sharonville, OH.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Judy for her unwavering love, her gift of music, and the indelible mark she leaves on our hearts. May her spirit continue to inspire us as we carry her memory forward.
