The Arlington Community Room & Reception Center
Since our primary consideration is to provide extraordinary and convenient experiences for those we serve, one of the most convenient features we offer is our on-site multi-purpose Reception Center.
The Reception Center’s primary function is as a gathering place for families before or after funeral and/or committal services. It is customary for the family of the deceased to host a gathering for those who have attended the funeral, graveside committal or memorial service. The purpose of these gatherings is to share memories of the deceased, to add comfort to the mourning family and to provide hospitality to those who may have traveled some distance to attend the funeral.
While these gatherings may take place at the home, the Reception Center offers a convenient alternative that comfortably accommodates groups of various sizes. Rather than planning for such a gathering at the home with all of the related details, the family can instead utilize the Reception Center and catering services. Arlington’s staff assumes responsibility for all of the arrangements and details, all for a modest fee. Those interested in this service should contact the Administrative Center at (513) 521-7003 between the hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday and 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Saturdays or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Reception Center is also available for other civic or social meetings or functions.
